This collection of donations is intended for medical personnel at the front, so that they can get as close as possible to the bombed areas and bring back the wounded.

In defiance of the Geneva Convention, the Russian invaders are targeting emergency vehicles.

A donation campaign to send a reconditioned vehicle as an ambulance

The war unleashed by Russia on 24 February across the whole of Ukraine follows the annexation of Crimea and eight years of fighting in the east of the country.

Today, almost 8 million refugees, the vast majority of them women and children, have fled the country, while the remaining population is subjected to indiscriminate bombing on a daily basis, affecting both soldiers and civilians and causing many deaths and injuries.

In our last issue, we were able to gather many testimonies from medical personnel on the front line, confirming the need for ambulances designed to get as close as possible to the bombed areas. In defiance of the most basic rules of the Geneva Convention, emergency vehicles are being targeted by the invaders. Ukrainian emergency services are unable to provide assistance, having to rely on military equipment that is already in great demand.

A collection in collaboration with the charity Kalyna

For Ukraine, for their Freedom and Ours, founded by 130 academics joined by a large number of supporters of the Ukrainian cause, intervenes in the press, with elected representatives and conducts public information campaigns in support of Ukraine. In addition to these actions, it aims to provide very practical help for victory by giving those who are fighting what they need.

Since 2014, KALYNA has been in constant contact with those protecting Ukraine. It provides them with equipment, thanks to its logistics and its local network of volunteers throughout the country. It also organises charity actions for the Ukrainian population, in the form of shipments of addressed food parcels, medicines and other basic necessities.
