A statement from the Union of Ukrainians in France, the association For Ukraine, for their freedom and ours! and the French Network of Solidarity with Ukraine.

As the war started by Putin on February 24, 2022 has already lasted for a year, we call for a great mobilization of solidarity and popular support in defense of Ukraine, which is fighting for its freedom and ours.
The war of invasion must be stopped.
Only the withdrawal of the Russian army from all of Ukraine and the return of the Ukrainian populations deported to Russia, especially the children, will lead to a just and lasting peace.
Let's march against Putin and his criminal war.
We call on all citizens, all democratic forces and organizations, parties, unions, associations, as well as all elected officials of the Republic to march throughout France to affirm our support for Ukraine.
(In Paris, the March will start on February 25 at 2 p.m. at Place de la République; speeches will be given upon arrival at Place de la Bastille).
A press conference by the organizers will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the offices of the League of Human Rights, in the presence of its President, Patrick Baudouin:

The Union of Ukrainians in France is the largest Ukrainian association in France, created in 1949 by Ukrainians deported to labor camps or to Sachsenhausen by the Nazis.
For Ukraine, for their freedom and ours!, an association created by 130 academics joined by many supporters of the Ukrainian cause, publishes opinion pieces and carries out actions in support of the cause of Ukraine, in particular for the defense of Ukrainian children deported to Russia.
Ukraine Solidarity Network (member of RESU) : The French committee of the European Network of Solidarity with Ukraine (RESU) brings together associations, unions, organizations, and parties opposed to Putin's war and all forms of neo-colonialism. It is building a network of concrete solidarity, independent of any government, and working towards a just and lasting peace for Ukraine, based on social justice.
